FN49 or DSA FAL

An inside tip. You can order DSA heavy barrel FALO for just a touch over $2,000.00, delivered. ( I paid $2024.00 plus transfer fee to dealer)
One of the BEST deals in the firearms industry at the moment. Heavy barrel, bipod, heavy hand guard, just like the 50.41. There is a brand new one on GB at the moment. You could pay his $425.00 mark up (plus Tax that GB will make you pay) or buy from DSA directly, wait about one month and have it shipped to your favorite FFL. They charge shipping, but NO TAX. Think that is a pretty good deal. It is a special order, as they don't seem to be building in large lot series?

If your into a FALO type rifle??

Pros: Only a few hundred dollars more than a standard DSA FAL., Only weighs 12 pounds, so much lighter than a BAR 1918A2 at 21 lbs. 7.62x51 outclasses and outdistances the 7.62x39, but you already knew that. Less cumbersome than the belt fed RPD, weigh less too (16 lbs). Mags are pretty easy to come by and DSA, plus others are making them still today. Can be easily scoped with a railed top cover. Easy break down and cleans from breech end due to design.

Cons: Not a real $6000-$75000 Belgium made 50.41 or 50.42.
Thank you sir!

If nothing pops up in the next few days, I'll likely go that route.
