FWIW, I see a lot of folks have the problem and after thinking about it, there were some additional things I wanted to share with you:Just curious what the ODT thinks?
Needless to say, but I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs. And you've been told about wedge pillows, etc. But, looking back there were a couple of things I do now that I couldn't / didn't do before. The first is sleeping on your back. If you're a side sleeper, this is a hard habit to break. I was once told by my doctor to take 4 Omeprazole tablets (20mg) every night because I'd wake up gagging and it was if someone had choked me almost to death. Losing the weight and sleeping on my back did wonders for me.
If you can't motivate yourself to lose weight and go on a diet, some gyms offer group support so that you interact with other people that help to keep each other in check. It costs a few dollars, but is more cost effective than prescription drugs. BTW, if you're old enough to be on Medicare, they will pay for your basic gym membership. It don't include the extras like trainers or the group sessions, but if you are self motivating, you can make it without them.
