I am encouraged by the articles in support of gun rights that I have been reading in the last few days. Its almost as if the emotional outcry has passed, and it is now time for ratonal, thoughtful discussion.

It is a very good article. However the person writing it would just be lambasted as a right-wing elitist by those who need to read it the most. He is absolutely correct and puts forth a nearly irrefutable statement and would just be shouted down by the morons running our country at present.
