Foreign Weapons and Obscure Builds

I am the one who grants admission and you my brother are welcomed here.

Unlike other threads, there are no know it alls or snobs here. We respect and help each other as much as we can. If we don't know, we'll do what we can to find out and help.

Hey I appreciate that KW. I’ve just acquired a converter Saiga from a pawn shop and it’s a sweet shooter. Gonna make some more mods on her to get her where I’d like her. So may be picking some brains. @jimipanic has always hooked me up with AK knowledge before. Glad to be here and welcomed.

 More like the door greeter at Walmart :becky:

Yep pretty much. I'm going to TruPrep tomorrow tho

Yeah I’ve been there before. They have city pricing to me but while in Rome...

So there are a few ranges a short drive away if you’re up for trying them out. There’s Range Guns and Safes near the airport area in Forest Park. They also have a North location off 85 and Pleasantdale exit. There’s Quick Shot that has 2 locations one off Buford Hwy and 85 and one the near Emory campus off in the cut. I’m not sure where TruPrep is but I’ve heard of them a lot on here. So you’re probably surrounded by lots of range choices for indoor within a 30 minute radius. Outdoors, you’d have to go to shoot at Bobs in Palmetto or go out to Advanced bullets in Temple. And let me tell you, once you shoot outdoors you don’t wanna shoot indoors unless it’s bitter cold, heavy rains or somebody got you a gift certificate. Shooting steel and being able to zero your rifles at a true 100 yards/meters is the best. JMHO that is...

Yeah, I'd go to Quickshot before I went to AO. They don't let you keep your brass at the AO range. It hits the floor it belongs to them. Oh, and I don't think you can shoot steel there, either.

Haven't been there in some time so please call before you go to confirm.
