The new pretty plaything.

Pros: Great finish, cheap cost, OG barrel. Even got the cleaning rod.

Cons: not numbers matching, needs rivets redone. 2R gave me a cheap quote, may send it to them.

Could just shoot it like it is. If it ain't broke...

Probably because it was actually a decent deal. Even in the days of cheap WASRs, the $250 days, the underfolder WASRs sold for $100 to $150 more than the fixed stock models. So, $650 today UF would be like buying a $500-$550 fixed stock today...a pretty good bargain no matter how you cut it.

P.S. No tools needed to replace the lower handguard.

When UF came back to US last year, Atlantic was first and only company to carry them fir a few months. They were 700 at that time. They ran a sale for a week or so, UF with 4 mags for $700, and that was a deal.
650 for used UF is a going price, nowdays.
