Found a used Bushmaster for under $1000

A little pawn shop in Lithonia, at Evans Mill & Covington Hwy next to the Subway, has a used Bushmaster with carry handle and fixed stock for less than $1000.
I don't know how good a deal this is, just putting it out there.

They had USED S&W Sds for $450 and USED M&Ps for $599, so that might tell you something.

Any other day I would say that it isn't a good deal ... but with what AR's are going for the last few days it is a very good deal. But when all of this demand blows over it will be not a good deal again so it's totally up to you.

Just under. Maybe $979, within 20 of a 1000.

I'm not asking for me, I don't want it. Just thought someone here might be interested.

Yeah, I can already see the demand slowly declining. I think the post election sales of November + the post Sandy Hook sales in December created a perfect storm of demand > supply = increased prices.

If it was me, and I had the cash and wouldn't miss it, I still wouldn't buy it.

I've got the cash, been trying to build one right before the hoopla and there isn't any way in H-E_(double hockey sticks) that I'd pay 1K for a Bushmaster. Not saying a Bushmaster is trash, but it's not worth 1K.
