Fractal burning?

Tried it a couple of times, when it first hit the interwebs.

It's cool, but not worth the risk. Just too many things can go wrong with serious bad results.

I mean, sure it's way cool, but for no good reason.

In a forum filled with men who own the most dangerous machines ever contrived…..a little discipline goes a long way towards safety…
I watched one guy on the video who was supposed to be an "expert" showing off his stuff and I saw he wasn't using rubber gloves, etc. Other things he did were what I'd call 'iffy,' too. That stuff runs at least 10KV (<100mA) and while the current is low the voltage is enough to zap your synapses pretty good and stop your heart as well as set stuff around it on fire.

I was a Class II electrician and an engineer (graduated from NATS) specializing in radars, HV systems, RF and antennas and in the AF I dealt with repairing and testing RF comms systems, some of which pumped out 50KW CW. All I'm saying is that the dangers are something to consider and getting a $100 transformer kit and clamps and spray bottle off Amazon could be a very cheap way to get hurt.
