Not in need of any 22 but saw this thread and just wanted to stop in and say that your awesomeness, sir, is boundless. Stuff like this is what made me join ODT in the first place.

I finally broke down and bought a good quantity of 22lr ammo ($200 for 2,800 rounds if you are wondering).
Well I am sick of the ammo flipping and rather than just gripe about it, I am going to put my money where my mouth is. I believe in Capitalism, but I do not believe in Profiteering. To make a massive profit from a shortage that you are causing is just wrong and it will not stop until people STOP buying at the 10 - 15 cents a round.
prof·it·eer [prof-i-teer] noun (From Dictionary.com)
1.a person who seeks or exacts exorbitant profits, especially through the sale of scarce or rationed goods.
You can come to me and pick up 100 rounds FOR FREE if you need ammo for yourself (more if you really need it to take your kid out shooting). I will only meet at the Home Depot in Cumming near GA-400 at Exit 14. Send me a PM and I will schedule a time for us to meet.
Feel free to bump this thread with any smart comments - I can take it.
AMMO FLIPPERS NEED NOT APPLY. This is a community of outdoor enthusiast - not a place for you to rape people for profit.
I was afraid you might. I found that ad of 2000 rounds for $300. Seems the tag cloud there has become active.
