if you can get it to run, it's yours. Tried everything except take it to a licensed dealer. Won't be worth it. New fuel lines and fuel filter. New spark plug. New trimmer line. Free to whoever comes to get it.

Have one just like it and i have a hell of a time starting it. Usually if i dump out the gas in it and put in new it works great

No idea. It was a gift from the father-in-law. It was used. It ran the first time I got it. Then it started having problems. Fixed what I could. Switched to Non-ethanol gas. Added fuel treatment. Gave to a friend who works on small engines and the like. He couldn't help. Home Depot employee suggested ditching it as did a lot online reviews. It'll run on half choke but once set to RUN, it stalls

In the past I have had gas powered tools that had a primer bubble fill up when pressed several times like they should. They would start then quit. The bubble would let the fuel leak back out and the engine would starve for gas. Bubble was found to have a crack or hole in it. Maybe your problem. I would try replacing bubble.

Lol, that is why I buy that brand. I just go buy a new one every couple years when it dies, problem solved.
