I recently bought some property that has an old shed/garage on it and I want it torn down.

It’s a 2-story building, with a poured slab and block walls. It has a shingle roof and some kind of lap siding, masonite maybe. I haven’t measured it but if I had to guess it’s approximately 26’ x 26’.

You can have all of the trusses, studs, floor joists, blocks etc, in exchange for tearing it down and cleaning up the site.

I know it’s a long shot, but I’d rather somebody get some use out of the building material, instead of sending it to the landfill. I’ve had a couple of different demo guys interested, but unfortunately they were all too far away to make it worth their time.

The property is located in north Cherokee County and is fairly accessible. Feel free to contact me to discuss details if you’re interested.

I’ve attached a few pictures for reference. I’ve hauled off several loads of trash, so it’s cleaner now than what these pictures show.

why tear it down? i know its yours to do with as you wish, but it
wouldnt take too much work to fix that up and at the very least
it would make a great hangout.

I've thought about it, but unfortunately when they backfilled around it the ground settled and (2) of the block walls have cracked joints and moved about 6" inward. Water comes in through the cracked joints now. It would take more work to repair it than what it looks.

Here are a few more pictures.
