Free Working shop vac and broken air compressor

There will only be a hose with the vacuum. No attachments . Vacuum is loud as hell.

Any idea what's wrong with the compressor and how long has it been down for

It's been down for about a month. No idea what's wrong with it. There seem to be a lot of people who thought it would be a quick and easy fix though. They said probably the capacitor
