I'd pull out the cheapest gun I own and start shooting. Why the cheapest? So I won't miss it when the poilce take it as evidence.

if you're out in public on a roof top taking shots with pistols is a bad idea. You might miss and hit the cop.

If I saw them right in front of me...based on the area that my office is in and the lack of cover...I just hope I could get one of them before they got me.

What would happen if you were walking to your office, or meeting family, or running to the store and you saw two masked men jump out of a car with AK's and open fire on a police officer?

In reality, I bet most of us would have no idea what they would do. I mean, you never know the circumstances that would affect your judgement in a situation like that until your actually in it.

Being a cop doesn't make him any more special than any other stranger that might be getting attacked.

the difference is, you have a defensible realization of who the bad guys are and who the good guys are.
if 2 guys not wearing masks hop out of a car and shoot a guy on the corner, you have no idea who any of them are. the 2 guys could be undercover or who knows.

you have a reasonable and defensible reason to assume that he is an innocent person and these two nozzles are terrorist ****s.

so you run?
