Does it float? I heard the earlier ones did but I know they go back a ways..

Im just going by the classic car value guide and what vw collectors have advised me to ask for the car.Make me a reasonable offer. Not sure if it floats. I can tell you from first hand experence that a '75 chevy pickup wont float.
