Very rare in the coupe, of the 2.7 Million W123 Mercedes produced from 1976 to 1985 they only made 30k of the 280CE Coupes worldwide
ONLY 90k original documented miles
Has probably one of the most beautiful interiors you have ever seen
ALL service history from NEW
All original owners manuals, service books, ect
The original owners kept it at their Winter home in Palm Beach
Every single thing works perfectly on the car, power windows, power sunroof, cruise, new stereo, AC, Everything
It is a great daily driver, absolutely reliable probably the lowest mileage 280 is the US. Cheap to maintain, it has Mercedes incredible Twin Cam straight 6, they go forever.
A genuine nice car, dealer stamped service books and additional records and all original books.
Very straight car, small bubble of corrosion lower left of rear window.
Car was originally tan and was apparently color changed 10 or so years ago.
Interior is great. the wood panel that houses the sunroof button needs to be replaced it hgas chipped away a lot of the wood. Saw one on ebay for @ $29
AC has been converted, Climate control has been replaced with an upgraded unit.
Full new exhaust. Front windshield seal needs to be replaced.
I just had a major service completed along with the following:
• Lube and adjust ALL windows and regulators, replaced Front right regulator
• Clean Lube sunroof
• New shift bushings
• Replaced Right rear sway bar link
• Replaced driveshaft flange and disc
• New driveshaft center sleeve
• Replaced tranny mount and bearing
• Transmission service and new transmission seal
Car runs drives, shifts great. Spare tire, tools ect all there and as new.
iF I was going to keep it I was going to have it painted, Paint is a bit week and I was going to do a respray and clean up any chips, bubbles, dings ect.and Replace the front window seal.
Bumpers are immaculate, moulding is great, tires are fine. Oil pressure is perfect. It truly is a 90k mile survivor that would make someone a great daily driver. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car cross country.
