Item Description: My fiance and I are selling our backup car for a little extra cash for the wedding. No trades, as we actually need the cash for wedding expenses. Here are the details as posted on Craigslist:
Here is a functional 1987 Volvo 240 DL Sedan (244). It has a few problems, some of which are known, some of which I can speculate, and some of which I don't even know exist yet. Has been a dependable get around town car while our other car was in the shop, but now that we have our ultra-thrifty super-high-MPG ride back, this reliable beast is up for sale.

Note: This car is not beautiful. The pictures below are a general view of the cosmetic condition of the car, but please don't come expecting a fully restored beauty. It would look amazing restored, no doubt, but it is not. Just trying to manage expectations here.

Known Issues
- A/C blower not working. Previous owner claimed that this was the problem with the A/C. Not something we ever confirmed.
- Driver's side front door exterior handle not working. We always left the window cracked and would reach inside and open that way. The rear handle is the same, so it can be switched. Was on the to-do list if we were going to keep it. Now you get to do it!
- Stereo only has one speaker hooked up. The previous owner installed a head unit, and one speaker in the rear. Never tested the other speakers.
- Speedometer is intermittent. Lately, it has been working fine, but it has been known to go out. I heard that this is usually a problem with the connection on the rear diff, but it seems to have worked itself out. But, heads up.
Stuff we've fixed
- Turn signal switch. Yeah, you need that...
- Changed all drive belts
