Item Description: This is a 26 year old boat, with "mostly" original engines and 15 year old electronics.
You can use it "as-is," but it would be a great platform as a true classic for someone with the means to do a complete overhaul and restore it to it's original (or ever better) former glory.
Boat, engines, trailer - $50K (firm, at this point) (over $5K cheaper than anything on Boat trader and includes a trailer, (the least expensive one on BT does not)
Issues:
- there is a pretty big "soft spot" on the port deck, just aft of the forward platform.
- autopilot has never worked
- the boat is very dirty now, but I will clean it up, if someone is seriously interested.
Pros:
- Port engine has a powerhead with less than 80 hours
- SB engine was purchased last March, professionally installed, and meets specs concerning compression and lower unit.
This is a fantastic, serious, offshore center console with a 235 gallon fuel capacity.
The 24 degree deadrise of Regulators make for the best offshore ride of any center console.
The best use of this boat would be to do a complete refurbishment and replace the engines with modern 4-strokes and have the boat completely rewired.
