Zip Code: 30078

Item is for: Sale Only
Sale Price: $3000

Willing to Ship: No

Bill of Sale Required?: Yes

Bill of Sale Info: Clean title, standard BoS

Item Description: Listed for my father is a 2001 Chevy Suburban 5.3l V8, 4L60e, 4x4 with 219k on the clock.

Pros: It’s one of the only $3000 vehicles around nowadays that runs and drives great with a clean title. Well optioned. 4x4 works. Lots of room for activities (maybe a con if you have teenagers). These trucks are rugged and reliable workhorses, family haulers, or toy haulers. Paint looks good. Several keys and a key fob or two.

Cons: Needs a battery and tires. A/C doesn’t work but he’s got a new compressor for it. It’s been sitting for a few years. Electrical gremlins in the creature comforts. I don’t think the radio works. Used to haul kids so there are some carpet stains. Dents in rear quarters from forgetting there was a small trailer behind it in reverse…. Twice….

I can help you load it and have a battery we can use to drive it on a trailer if you’d like to do so. Or I can help put a new battery in it if you want to bring one and drive it home.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

5.3 liter, fixed step bars.

I had a 99, one of the best cars I ever owned. Gas tank was like 32 gals or so, almost 700 miles on a tankful on the highway...

Ran it to almost 200k, brakes, alternator, battery. Still had original water pump when I let it go.

Edit- I had the barn doors, not lift gate.

What are some of the other gremlins?
If I remember correctly, the radio doesn’t work, there’s an issue with one of the heated seats, and there’s an issue with the dual zone climate control for the front seats. Something causes the battery to die if it’s not cranked every few days but if you crank it up every once in a while, it’s fine. With a good battery, it cranks, runs, and drives without issue.
