Lower is stainless steel duracoated FDE
DPMS produced very few of these lowers and have become a very rare collectors piece, this one is pre-ban with an super low S/N of 433. Also, the stainless lowers only weigh 1lb than a standard one.The only ones I have been about to find that sold online were for $475 in 2003 and for $640 on armslist in 2011. A little digging on google will support those numbers.
The stock DPMS trigger has been replace by a Timney skeleton 3lb pull trigger group, the trigger sells for $250 everywhere. Housing the trigger group are KNS anti-rotational pins that are amazing, sell for $30, and are american made.
The standard handguards were replaced by Ultra light Troy industries quad rail, which is american made and sells for $100+. Put magpul quadrail covers on it to match the FDE lower.
I put a quadrail gas block on it as well. Made by B.M.E and is american made also.
I replaced the trigger guard with an enhanced Magpul trigger guard which was like $15.
Swapped to an awesome feeling Houge grip that was $25
I put a Black Rain Ordnance flash suppressor that is so bad ass and ran a little over $100.
Has true USMC Knights Armament 600m front sight that was somewhere over $150, the front sight in a magpul MBUS that was $40.
Has a Sure fire M190 Vertical foregrip weapon light. The system operates off of either of three pressure switches. Has a large main light for large viewing areas and distance, has two blue LED small lights for navigation. Also has a master switch. Cheapest price I could find was on optics planet for $408 with an 1-3 moth ship date. Surefire is american made and mil-spec.
Has a Spikes Tactical M16 BCG with a nickel boron firing pin. Rainier Arms ambidextrous Raptor charging handle, it sells for $90.
The sight is a L3 EoTech 553 Socom. Eotech is the only true Holographic sight and the 553 model is thier top dawg. Two A.R.M.S (American made, mil-spec) quick detach throw levers to guarantee exact sighting within 1 MOA while taking the optic on and off. Operates off of two CR123 batteries for 1200+ run time. Has the night vision capabilities. Simply put it is the best optic for quick acquisition point of aim point of impact shooting.
Barrel is chrome lined with a 1:9 twist.
Magpul FDE CTR stock.
Comes with quick detach sling adapter and FDE american made quick detach sling also. Liberty Tactical (american made) soft gun case with three mag pouches and a large ammo pouch, I will put three Pmags with FDE magpulls in the poches.
The gun has had one 30 rd pmag rand through it to test function and it performed beautifully.
