Up for sale is a Civil War era boot pistol possibly made by Allen and Thurber. I was told this is .31 caliber. 6 1/2” long. No cracks in the grips. Rarer brass trigger guard. Looks like it has a period nipple in good shape. Locks back into half and full cock. Hammer will drop when you pull the trigger. I’ve never fired it.

Man, I’ve been looking to get into relic guns lately, and what a wild ride. Yesterday I saw stainless steel nipples, and here we are with period nipples. Not sure how to feel.
