Item Description: Well, I posted a big huge post on this right as my iPad hit 0% battery life, so this one will be a bit more brief. After recent incidents (that I'd rather not discuss) involving drones I provided to law enforcement, I've decided I will not sell drones to LE any more, and will only give them use of my services when it's to help someone (for example search and rescue). I have plenty of friends in law enforcement, including my best friend, and another who died in the line of duty, so I hope no one takes this is a slam on LE anywhere.
I have ten drones available. Personally, I use them for art's sake; aerial videography and such. The view from up there is amazing, and after a hard day of work, nothing is as nice as sipping a lemonade and playing in the clouds.
There are too many options to list, and too many features to list. I'll keep it short and sweet, and if you're interested you can contact me and I'll show you what they are capable of.
You have your choice of fixed wing or VTOL (the ability to hover). Speeds range from hover to 140 mph. Range is anywhere from 2-3 miles to over 80 miles. All drones are equipped with an advanced auto pilot system, data and video relays and transmitters, etc. in a nutshell, you click a spot or spots on Google Maps and click "fly here" and it does. If there's a problem, it loses signal or the battery gets low, it automatically returns to you and lands itself safely.
While in flight, you watch real time video of where the drone is, along with a "heads up" type display that has vital data like battery life, signal strength, GPS location, distance and direction to home, altitude, speed, vertical speed, compass heading, roll pitch and yaw and a lot of other data.
You have a PTZ gimbal that points the camera where you want, or you can have another person control the camera while you or autopilot flies. Also autopilot can control camera functions and keep your high definition video camera recording any spot on Google Maps you specify.
It's very easy to fly, and capture breathtaking video. I also have night vision installed, and FLIR is also available for hunting or search and rescue.
Price ranges from $1500-10,000 depending on options, FLIR being the most expensive. A child could fly this like a pro.
Legally, you need no license for this. I take no responsibility or liability for what you do with this. Although my videos are often over interstates or landmarks, I do not advise anyone else to do what I have done. The FAA will not let you charge for your services if you want to do this commercially. Me? I charge for video editing and post-production, as that's the not fun part anyway.
If you have questions, and I'm sure you do, feel free to ask.
