These things are great. I have the same model as a backup for my whole house propane generator. You can run the majority of a small to medium size house off one, minus the central heat and air.
 
Well if your heat is gas you can run it with the generator, I'm just looking to get a larger one for my camper.
That's true. I have gas logs, so in the winter when the power went out, I'd heat with the logs and use the generator for the rest of the house. Kept us nice and comfy.
 
We are supposed to be having a pretty rough winter. This would be a wonderful investment for someone. Especially if you have a relative that needs power to supply medical gear, etc.
