Item Description: 1968 Airstream project. Everything is there for a rehab. Hard part is done...
So i bought this camper a few years back knowing that the floor needed to be replaced due to window leaks and needed some TLC. After getting it home i realized that the only correct way to replace the flooring is to completely gut and lift the camper body off of the frame as the body is bolted to the frame through the wood floor.
So we gutted, and pulled frame out, sandblasted and repaired anything needing fixed, painted and started the trailer lights and brakes rewire. Then installed new wood flooring and put the body back onto the frame.
Currently the camper has new plywood flooring installed and bolted back onto the frame. All the trim, wall pieces, toilet, shower, piping, couch, etc, etc, etc, are just loaded into the camper.
I have the fridge, water heater, stove, power dist panel, and everything but all of that is in unknown working condition.
These are valued very high when restored. This one has a straight body with no major issues as far as dents and such.
Below are some pics taken during all the work and i can take more current pics if requested for serious buyer.
If interested let me know.
