Short and sweet:
99 is my daily driver with some body damage at rear qp 123k original miles on everything, nothing has been swapped out. Mechanically it's great
98 is a shell that I purchased to swap the 99 components into and have a car with 0 body damage. No engine, tranny, front bumper, hood, pass fender, front seats, wheels. Will need to be towed, but I can handle that part probably.
Job will take about 2 days for someone with mechanical knowledge
Total value if repaired and then left overs parted out and bad body scrapped/repaired and sold. is about $6000-$7000 Would still be a good body for a FWD dirt track car.
Nada value is $4300 trade in and $6300 clean retail.
I will take $3500 cash for the whole lot or trade for:
newer 4x4 atvs, 2 newer or fresh MX bikes, nice street bikes, cash and trade, lot of man toys. Can mix and match the trades any way you're able to or add cash to boot. I will not be adding any cash on my end. I still drive it nearly every day and have no problem continuing to do so. I have another truck as well so I'm not hurting to get another car. Once I have the time and get the new truck tagged and all the legal stuff done, I will put the Prelude down and start the process myself. By the time I'm done with everything I'll be asking $7000. So either I can make the extra cash or you can, up to you. If you have the tools and know-how, this would be a great way to make some quick cash.
