Item Description: Arctic Cat:
2002 Arctic Cat 400 4X4 foot shift with hi/lo range selection. 3500lb Winch included.
When I purchased this ATV it looked just like it does now. Someone camo'd it up. Since I bought it I have done the following things:
Rebuilt Carb
Rebuilt both front axles and put heavy duty boots on
Full hard pipe 1.5 in snorkle. Completly sealed.
New battery
New fuel lines
Radio
New voltage regulator
New start solenoid relay
The original shocks are worn out but I have 4 more ready to install.
Overall this is a great ATV.
Truck:
I purchaced this truck with the intent of making a service truck. I have to many other projects and simply do no have the time.
I haven't done anything to the truck since I purchased it so I'll tell you what I was told when I bought it and what I know about it.
It has 214170 miles on it. The guy I bought it from told me he thought the motor had been changed. I have to agree based soley on the way it looks and sounds, it seems like it has alot fewer miles on it.
The Transmission has been rebuilt by a mechanic in Ft Valley and is still under warranty. I'm trying to track down the paperwork on it as this was done before I bought it.
The truck does have a noise coming from the rear end and the previous owner said that he had it checked by his machanic and it needed inner axle bearings. ( $100 from advance).
As with most dodges this age, the clearcoat is faded pretty bad in some spots and the dash has some cracks in it. I have a brand new dash cover for it.
The AC, Heat, and power windows work. Almost brand new tires. The 4 wheel drive works awesome.
Overall I think the truck is in great shape. Its not gonna win a beauty contest but it would make a great work or woods truck.
