Item Description: Low round count (~100) American Classic 2 full size 1911 w/ original box/docs.

Gun is in great shape ~95% condition. Functions flawlessly, of the dozens of 1911s in its price range I tried, it is by far the best.

The only reason I'm getting rid of this is to upgrade, while this is an awesome low range 1911, I'm planning on getting an SR1911, or a springfield loaded/ro.

$470 cash, or will add cash in a trade toward the guns listed above.

I'm very open to trade offers, the only thing I can flat out decline up front is a Taurus PT92. For some reason every time I post that I'm interested in a Beretta 92 I get lots of people wanting to offer me the Taurus. It's not the same gun.

I had this in chrome. Should have kept it. Flawless function with EVERYTHING, oversized safety and mag release and what appeared to me as fine craftsmanship. Under 500? Crazy good. :)

Absolutely. I bought it as an entry level 1911 since I had never owned one before, and wanted to know if it was for me. This gun has convinced me that 1911 is my ideal carry platform, so now I'm looking to move up. Honestly, the only reason I want to trade up is for a stainless commander sized SR1911 really. I like the springfields too, but that's really what I want. An inch less on the barrel and a stainless finish would make for a better carry weapon I think.
