Up for grabs is my Arc’Teryx USMC Recon/Corpsman Assault Pack. In very good condition, this pack is perfect for a two to three day mission if you know what you are doing and have good gear. If you DONT know what you’re doing or have cheaper, bulkier gear this is a good 24 hour pack, but can easily be expanded to multiple days by adding sustainment pouches to the Molle attachment points.
The outer pocket unzips all the way down to expose multiple pockets of all shapes and sizes, which makes organizing and separating mission essential gear easy to find.
The main compartment is large and divided by a removable sleeve, which leads to the sleeping bag compartment which has a bottom access point, making it easy to get to it without having to dump all the rest of your gear. The bottom is reinforced and has two additional buckles for added strength.
The pack has an internal rigid frame built in and has both chest straps and a waist strap waist strap to secure your pack while on a hike.
Also has compression straps all around it to shrink down the footprint if you are only going on a day hike.
I absolutely love this pack and think it’s the perfect size for a realistic mission of 2-3 days. Most are either small backpacks too small for overnight gear or massive rucksacks that are not something you want on your shoulders during an actual engagement. This is the perfect medium size multi day pack, built for the USMC by Arcteryx, one of the worlds best outdoor pack manufacturers.
These go for over $300 used all over the internet and are highly sought after for everything mentioned above, Im going well below that because that price is just ridiculous.
Only reason why I’m selling is my team is transitioning to multicam, so this won’t be a viable option for duty use. I’m going to attempt to find the exact same thing only in multicam, if you have that I would be very interested in trading.
