Unlike the 240 grain and heavier rounds which are better suited for hunting, these are self-defense rounds, intended for use in self-defense situations where deep penetration and great expansion is what you want, without the potential for tremendous over-penetration that the heavier .44 magnum loads are capable of in self-defense situations.
