Item Description: I brought this home from Iraq with me. It is a really cool piece. Will stop .44 Mag and under. They retail for around $5000. I don't expect to get anything near that for it. To be honest to don't even want to get rid of it, but I'm trying to pay for Lasik for my wife. Looking for a Gen 4 Glock 22 plus some cash or just cash. Thinking around $800 value. Like I said I'm really not trying to get rid of it.

It will stop .44 magnum and under? Were there many Iraqi insurgents armed with pistols? If it won't stop 7.62 x 39, did it provide protection in IRAQ?

I found it a BLDG that was abandoned by the Marines. We were tasked with taking anything out of the BLDG to the dump and burning it when we took over the FOB and moved in. The Marines ripped out an left all kinds of **** laying around. I never used it on any missions due to it's impractical nature in that type of enviroment, it sayed in my hut as a cool toy and my chain of command said I could take it home.

Yeah there was a fair amount of 9mm floating around. I would probably stop a ton of shrapnel for you. Not really something that we used in our TTP's. It has a very limited scope of use.
