I have a RIA full size 9mm 1911 gi model that I have lightly customized. Purely aesthetic touches. Have not touched the internals.
The slide has had the flats polished and cold blued and removed the Ria logo. The inside of the slide and the top is still the factory matte finish. The frame is the stock finish as well. The trigger, safety, slide hold and grip safety have been polished and “fire blued” to color the parts. The colors range from a deep blue to a wheat color. The safety is a wilson combat safety. I also have some handmade walnut grips on there. Stock plastic grips are included as is the box and docs and one mag. This gun has a couple hundred rounds through it and shoots perfect.
