Item Description: For sale or trade is a stunning 1981 Smith & Wesson Model 27-2 finished in factory nickel, wearing the long 8⅜" barrel with the classic pinned barrel and recessed cylinders. This is from the final years before the engineering change and represents the peak of S&W’s craftsmanship on their flagship .357 Magnum. I purchased this revolver from the original owner in Georgia, who stated it had been fired fewer than 30 rounds. The condition absolutely supports that claim. The nickel finish is brilliant, mirror-like, and exceptionally bright; the kind of shine you expect from a safe-kept showpiece. Only the faintest handling marks keep it from “as new.” It also comes with a fully restored original presentation case, including the factory tools, documents, and silk-lined interior. The set looks gorgeous and showcases the revolver exactly the way Smith & Wesson intended. The target stocks display deep, rich, dark grain, pairing beautifully with the nickel and adding to its display appeal.
