Very nice Marlin. The ad states "non JM stamped." 1990 should be JM stamped. Remington did not acquire Marlin until 2007 and the North Haven plant operated until 2010. The JM stamp may be covered by the optic rail.

Left side of the barrel next to the receiver. In my judgement JM stamped is more desirable than the newer non JM stamped. $700 is a great price for this rifle; it looks very clean.
