Correct, though I don't believe Glock does the coating.

Glock does NOT do the nickel boron coating. There are a couple companies that do it but they are sold as new by dealers who got them through distributors as exclusives. My is an Austria made Gen3 coated by WMD Guns who list their nickel boron as NiB-X. Ni-B should be the correct abbreviation for it. NIB is usually used for New In Box.
I had two NibX Glocks, and both needed extra lube, otherwise they would FTF. I guess the slide tolerance was tight. It was a G20 and G19. It didn't happen all that often, but it never did it in my G20C or my Gen4 19 using same ammo.
