For Sale or trade a lovely pre-model 10 5-screw 4-inch tapered barrel .38 S&W Special Smith and Wesson. The grips number to the revolver as well. The finish on this revolver is beautiful you will be hard-pressed to find another one in this condition! Mechanically the revolver is in excellent condition with no issues and Bank vault lockup and timing. The bore and cylinder chambers are mint and the mechanical working order is flawless. I do not have the box or documents for this one, but it is a beautiful revolver. Beautiful numbered Diamond grips!! Original factory finish. Manufactured in 1955, this beauty has desirable features no longer available on today's modern machine-made guns- like a hammer-mounted firing pin, pinned barrel, and of course, the absence of that ugly lock. I believe it is nice enough that you will be delighted with the investment you have made even one year from now. These recently have been going crazy. You will be extremely hard-pressed to find another one in this condition.
