Item Description:
This is a Remington 700 long action with synthetic stock and extremely good recoil pad. I got this to keep the elephants and rhinos out of the garden and it did such a great job that I don't need it anymore!!

Actually, I've got medical bills coming up for the big C treatments.

This is really a sweet shooting rifle and not as punishing as so many think it can be. Really on the order of a heavy 30-06, it's a long push and not a fast punch like the 7mm or 300 mags.

If you are a reloader, you will definitely have an enjoyable time putting together loads that do everything from the mouse sneeze to the buffalo buster.

I will separate this out: $550.00 rifle only, $45.00/box ammo

I would prefer a sale, but trades could be in this order: Lever action .357 rifle, Glock 29 + cash, Glock 19 + cash, Glock 26 + cash, AR pistol , SS encore rifle in mag caliber, Rem 870 in 20 ga + cash, or? Don't need BP or archery or lawn mowers.

I can't travel far due to medical condition.
Best contact through PM.

Thanks for looking

60 years ago, my dad went black bear hunting in Canada.
One guy in the group had a .375 H&H mag rifle.

At camp, the fellow put on a demo: he shot a 55-gallon steel drum filled with creek water.
Made it jump like a still-sealed Coke can hit with a high velocity .22 hp.

Later that guy got a 600-lb bear. It was coming at him (walking, not attacking).
Bullet hit bear in side of neck and was found, nicely mushroomed, in bear’s opposite-side thigh.

That gun sure has amazing power.
