FS/FT ** STOLEN ** Ruger LC9

I would call and let every pawn shop know about it in a 50 mile radius.

I don't believe that's necessary is it? If you report it stolen to th police, they place the serial into a national db that pawn shops have to check befor accepting. Am I wrong?

I bet your right but I don't want to count on that many people doing their jobs in order for me to get my gun back. Just seems like more things that can go wrong.

That sucks.

I parked my motorcycle by Taco Mac in Canton three weeks ago. When I was getting ready to leave, I noticed a pos dirt bag stole my magnetic tank bag with my jacket liner, tail bag and rain suit. About $300.00 worth of gear. 19 years riding street, and I've never had problems with anybody messing with my motorcycle. Now when I leave my bike unattended, I'll have to take all of my riding gear with me. I hope I see my riding gear on his motorcycle real soon.

Yes and no. It is a waste of time going to the pawn shops. They do not personally run the serial numbers before they buy something. But they do have to take EVERYTHING they buy from Ipods to guns and hold it in a back room for an officer to come by once a week or so, to check everything over for stolen goods before it can be placed on the shelf for sale. So if it is pawned anywhere in America you will get a call.
