Item Description: AMERICAN soft body armor vest. Level IIIA body armor vest with plate carrier pockets. This is a large sized surplus vest that is rated up to a 44mag. There are two 10" by 12" plate pockets for hard or soft body armor inserts on the front and rear. There is also an admin pocket and a single strip of Molle webbing on the front of the carrier. Still in very good condition with very little wear. The front dimensions are 14" by 20" the back dimensions are 17" by 28". There are adjustment snaps to raise or lower the shoulder straps. I'm 5'9" and wear a large shirt and this fits fine. Original surplus SAPI plates. Two front 10" by 12" SAPI plates which can be used as a front and back plate for any standard carrier. I believe that these plates came from a "Ranger Body Armor PS-930" armor carrier and are rated to stop .30 ball ammo. These are surplus plates.
