Item Description: I have a nice Marlin 1894 in .44 Mag. The rifle was built sometime around 1989. The fit and finish are very good. I would place the bluing at 95% plus. The wood has some dings and scratches but I would easily say above average for a rifle this old. I purchased this from a gunsmith. It shoots well. I have a scope mount on it and red dot sight. The open sights are still installed. This is a great gun for hunting in GA and will take care of those hogs/deer/bear you are after. They don't make them like they used to.
