Thanks. I bumped the scope on my 30-06 last year so I pulled it out if the safe and hunted with it one day last year. Bought it for my kids and dialed it in and it just sits in the safe

I know quite a few guys that swear by 243 and 270 for their deer guns.

Everybody should own a spare deer rifle in a low-recoiling caliber to loan to friends or keep as a back-up in case something happens to yours. I'd be all over this if I didn't already have a Savage in .243 (which was also very inexpensive and came with a scope).

Location and the fact that I don't live near Atl kills it for most people so here's what I'm gonna do. First $200 to meet me just off the Warner Robins I-75 exit gets it. If not it can live out it's life in my safe till I have grandkids which I hope is a helluva long time from now.

Dude, if you drive to Warner Robins I'm sure there's a dozen or more members from there and Macon, Byron, Perry etc that would be all over this.
