Previous owner polished the flats. While it looks pretty, aluminum that is no longer anodized will corrode. I ordered a can of Wheeler Engineering CeraKote and painted the frame, sideplate, crane, and barrel black. The hardware and cylinder were left Stainless. Originally the gun was all aluminum/stainless in color.
appears to have low round count - pre lock dash 1 version of the 637
