This Model 53 is chambered in .22 Jet. It features a 6-shot capacity, adjustable rear sight, 8 3/8” pinned barrel, dull blue finish, target trigger, target hammer, and rosewood grips. The introduction of the Model 53 was in 1960 after Remington and Smith & Wesson started production in the late 1950’s- early 1960’s. This Model 53 has minor scratches on the frame in front of the cylinder and overall, in excellent condition. Unfortunately, I do not have the box or the 22LR inserts. This is another one from my father’s collection, you won’t be disappointed!
