With a limited amount of photo's allowed I pulled random sheets so you can see the detail and color.One sheet had some very mild yellowing. All are uncut originals with no folds, bends or tack marks.The Cover sheet shows some discoloration and the envelope has wear and tear as shown.
These are part of an ongoing series by Robert Thom depicting Medicine throughout the years.
Today, Thom’s original paintings are owned by the University of Michigan; art historians and historians of medicine look at the images with a critical eye; and pharmaceutical ads tend to focus on a specific product (and more prominent brand placement) than on a foundation of medical progress. But the “History of Medicine” prints still hold a special place in the hearts of many.
