I am pretty sure that he shot it, but it looks brand new.
It’s a Winchester model 9422m Lever Action Rifle with the factory checkered Dark Walnut stock. Serial number puts this at early 1993 production.
I can’t drive far right now, so I would be a local sale or someone willing to drive.
