Item Name: FS WW2 German Volksempfanger Radios
Location: Buckhead
Zip Code: 30305
Item is for: Sale Only
Sale Price: 400
Willing to Ship: No
Bill of Sale Required?: No
Item Description: Selling three different German Volksempfänger radios. These were a series of low cost radios put out to increase radio listenership. Each of these has been electronically restored with their electrolytic and paper capacitors having been replaced so they're fully functional. They're all also capable of running on 120V, though I only ever used them with a step up transformer for 220V.
Three models available
VE 301: $330
This was the original model released in 1933. Great condition all around but the speaker grill does have some pulled fabric.
VE 301 DYN: $400
Fancier model that was put out later, has an illuminated dial with different cities marked along. (Pic isn't mine, will adjust later but the one I'm selling is in great condition)
DKE 38: $300
The DKE 38 is the most common model and is war time version of the Volksempfänger. Uses as little metal as possible with the chassis and speaker frame being made out of composites instead of steel.
