have a mini red dot sight for somewhere to Matic pistols AR 15's or to mount scoops for hunting rifles for close range target engagement. the make is insight technology and it is a 7 moa dot. (500.00)
I also have an Elcan Specter Dr. It os a 1x -4x flip sight. no Optic dial ring needed to dial in near to far. At the throw of a lever your on target and you don't even come off your optic to engage your target. it has a optimized for 5.56 mm 855 and .223 .
I do a lot of first time shooter courses for introduction to AR 15's in combat shooting along with pistol marksmanship and teach some combat pistol courses with different shooting techniques . When I painted my AR this was the optic that was on it so it to got painted not taking away from performance . Please let me know one way or another. Thanks.
