This is a nickel-plated Gen 3 Smith .22 semi-automatic pistol, one of 500 manufactured (feel free to check the serial number online). Purchased this piece years ago in a pawn shop and had no idea what I had purchased until I started doing some research.
It's in less than perfect condition: the nickel plate is flaking off on the control side where the model number is embossed, as seen in photos. Fully functional, shoots flawlessly, fills the hand nicely, and very distinctive appearance and function. It's rare to see one of these--it's the only one I've ever seen, nickel-plate or otherwise, and it's part of the Gen 3 models of the Smith and Wesson family.
Comes as shown, with one magazine.
TRADES
I'm partial to trade offers in 9mm, .38, specifically:
.38 pistols that are 2 or 3 inches in length: specifically a Smith and Wesson .38+p Airweight
Sig p290RS
A Gen 3 Smith and Wesson in 9mm
Sig P365, post 2020 manufacture date
Remington R51
What do you have?
I'm placing a trade value for this piece in the $550-650 price range, due to condition. If it were perfect (and it's far from that), it's worth a great deal more. So it's a nice investment that you can shoot and enjoy.
I live in Habersham but work in Athens during the week and run south and north on Hwy 441 daily.
Any questions please ask, and thanks for looking.
