FT Will Pay CASH; $ .50 for every Antique Firearm Posted; Pre 64 doesnt count

Here is my great grandfathers double trigger Tranter cartridge pistol ca 1873 - not for sale of course but probably the most unique that will be seen on this thread! Pull both triggers and it fires like a double action. Pull first the lower then the upper and it's single action. Of course I have never fired this pistol and wouldn't even if I had the .38 rim fire ammo that is no longer made. This is a transitional model, probably built new as a cartridge pistol using an extra foliate engraved frame from an earlier percussion pistol, according to an expert who has reviewed this gun. I've had it 50+ years, and everything funtions; triggers, extractor, cylinder, latch, etc.

Boneboy - Is that crest a Wells Fargo Crest? The shotgun is identical to one i just sold... Same lever on the side/rabbit hair triggers/furniture - yet no Wells Fargo Markings...
wwboater; if you ever sell any of your Smith Single Shots - lemme know... Cool Stuff

Tranter; The gun looks like a Pinfire, yet with a very unusual double trigger system... VERY COOL Piece... Definitely something you will not see often.....

I'm not sure chandlee312, all I know about it is it's an E. James & Co. shotgun, Lovejoy St. Birmingham England.
