Clayton County cheap ass doesn't send any notice about your permit expiring. I went 2 weeks ago to renew as mine expires March 7th. $35 fee and the usual self addressed stamped envelope. Was in there less than an hour thank God! Playing the waiting game now.

It should be a mandated law for that county. For all that qualify that is.

You have to apply at the Probate Office

I got my first permit in 1990. Carried many years before that

Looks like ours are good 'til 2028.
Got my first one in the late 60's. $3.00 IIRC, and it was for a specific firearm.
I also may have been carrying before that.

Just renewed my Utah non-res permit online yesterday.

Are there advantages to having a non-resident permit from Utah? Do you also have one from GA?
