I had a lot of problems with the self completed Covid 19 questionnaire?
But mainly #2 question
Do you know anyone or been near anyone who has
COVID-19?
.

How in the heck would knowing someone make me a carrier?
Can the virus spread through telephone lines now ?
Wouldn’t I have to have personal contact?

I could either check no… Or be denied entry.

Hey guys, here is the deal in a nut shell:
The Mass Media/Social Media has the public whipped into a frenzy.
Politicians, whose number one priority is to get reelected to their cush jobs, feel they have to do something to make the aforementioned public feel safe.
Said politicians, being overwhelmingly lawyers, do what lawyers understand. Pass laws, issue executive orders. Doesn't matter if they make sense or not as long as they look like they are doing something to protect/reassure their constituency.

I would agree with most of this, I would also add that in today’s very litigious society… Companies and businesses are scared to death of any liabilities and getting sued
almost less risky to just close your business and go broke then to be sued for operating and putting the public at risk or Requiring employees to work.
I believe this was the school system thoghts
government thoughts
And most private businesses.

.
The threat of or trying to fight a lawsuit against public opinion
Or trying to gain back your good name in public trust after it’s been destroyed.
For some large companies they may never getting that good name back
Just shut down all operations… “For the good of the people in the public”
(and to not get sued)

Absolutely, when our lawmakers and judges are predominately lawyers they write and interpret laws in a manner that perpetuities litigation.
[EDIT] And of course, lawmakers and judges make sure that they are largely immune from being sued for the decisions they make while in office.

Yes, private businesses and government entities are under the same pressures (Media/public opinion) as the politicians.
