It's the law, in Georgia.

So is texting and talking on your phone while driving, but it seems that a $149.00 fine isn't enough deterrent.
I'm thinking of more like $2500.00 fine, that'll get a lot of people's attention.

Every now and then there's someone that want's to blow by me, but several miles down the road I'm passing them while they text.

Not true. However it may be true for younger or commercial drivers but not for the general public.

I always try to get the left lane at the drag strip; because GA law says that's the fast lane.

If you're not in the right lane or actively passing... you should be moving over to the right. Period.

Rain, sleet, snow, dark of night, political affiliation, sociopathy, phone-jabbery, or complete lack of mental acuity-- no excuse. KEEP RIGHT EXCEPT TO PASS.
