I have a good friend who has two wooded lots in a farming community, one is 7.5 acres & the other is 10 acres, in a beautiful area 5 miles off of exit #336 or #345 from I-75 for $2700/ acre.
That is low for this area.
He had them listed for somewhere around $9000/ acre but the listing has expired & he wants to move them before the end of the year to raise some money to pay taxes on other properties.
An auction nearby for similar property went for $6000/ acre recently.
These are great lots that lay real well with mostly 10-12 year old pines on them in the county of Whitfield.

You can't get 2,000 an acre for any land in Talbot county. Wouldn't surprise me if some logged out stuff could be had for 1,500.
